Christina Pike, ARNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I am always learning. ALWAYS! My open tabs on my computer are full of journal articles I want to read. Learning brings me joy. This is partly why working in psychiatry is so rewarding. Every person is a unique opportunity for me to think creatively. Not just because everyone is different, but each person wants something different. I am also willing to be wrong, learn from that, and change. I can do better, always. Just like all of you, I am constantly learning and growing. I believe that there are hundreds of ways to wellness and all we need to do is find the right ones for you. I do not take a traditional view of psychiatry but instead, I see it as just one of the many tools we have that contribute to overall health.

My work is a collaborative mix of art and science with the understanding that the most important part of the equation is what you desire, as you are the foremost authority on the life you would like to cultivate. To help people reach their goals I use a mix of genetics, nutrition, herbs, medications, and labs. I enjoy working in a collaborative environment to bring the highest quality of care possible. That means that all you must do is bring your desire to change and your dedication to the process.

Shane Chapple, LPC/CPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Shane has worked for Bridges Counseling in Anchorage, Alaska for 11 years and quickly built a thriving practice. For several years he has wanted to open his clinic, specifically in Henderson, and with the support of Bridges Counseling, he’s very excited to see his dream become a reality. When you meet Shane, you’ll recognize he’s not your typical counselor right away. He has a different energy level, and his approach to counseling is straightforward.   What you see is what you get, and he’s about as “real” as they come. He’ll hold you accountable but in a personal, compassionate way. It will be difficult not to notice how passionate he is about counseling and helping people become the best versions of themselves. He prides himself on being laid back and personable but professional.

Shane obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah and his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. Shane was born and raised in Utah and lived in Alaska for over 20 years. He and his wife, Evelyn, recently moved to Nevada to open the clinic and make Henderson their permanent home.

He has been working in the mental health field since 1996 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 12 years. He works with adults, teenagers, and children no younger than age 10. He specializes in working with individuals experiencing difficulties with PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger, mood swings, major life transitions, and relationship issues.

If you’ve never seen a counselor, are considering returning to counseling, or are looking for a new counselor for yourself or someone else, don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment with Shane. You’ll find his approach to counseling uniquely different and welcoming.
